I'm Erika Rossi and I was born in Italy in 1986, currently based in Barcelona. I'm an interaction and UX designer with 7 years of experience in the digital realm. Whenever I can, I draw. My interests span from tangible interfaces and mobile solutions to craft and illustration as one of the tool I use to visualise my ideas. Things that I love: swing dance, palm trees, cats, pistacho ice-cream and bloody-thirsty TV series. Things that I cannot stand: moaners, rain, pickles and rats (I'm not a big fan of farm birds either).
In 2011, I graduated at Iuav’s MA in Visual and Multimedia Communication, specialising in Interaction Design with a project called I Mirabilia consisting of three interactive dolls for hospitalized children. This project gained several international prizes such as: Braun Prize 2012, ICSR 2011 (international conference on social robotics), Adobe Design Achievement Awards 2011 and more. It has also been presented at TEDx Salzburg and Ambience 11 (international conference about smart textile, Sweden).
